Here’s a great community of prepa students working hard on improving their English and their production for the CGE orals.
For you & your Buddies, I have designed a programme of 8 one-hour khôlle sessions, in which to work on translation, synthesis, and on the oral: structure, content, and style. So this package offers 8 one-hour sessions. Sessions take place weekly, in the evening, so it does not interfere with Prepa classes. For each session, I send you a text to work on a few days before. Sessions are divided in 15 mn of teaching (focusing on a particular element of structure, content, or style) & 45 mn of practice. That 2nd part is like a Q&A session, where you take the floor and ask me your specific questions directly. Also, you take the floor to check whether what you’ve done is ok. You will be invited to share your production. You will give feedback on each other’s production. I strongly believe in team work, and so do your Buddies.
The Buddy Programme
- 8-session Programme
- one-hour sessions
- every week = 8 weeks
- = 8 hours of intense training & practice
- 4 sessions on the written part + 4 sessions on the oral: structure, content and style
- a new text every week, incl. “annales” from previous years towards the end of the 8-week Programme
- 8 x 15 mn of teaching according to the focus of the session, with plenty of illustrations
- 8 x 45 mn of Q&A where you speak directly to me
- access to the Members Community
- access to video recordings if you missed a session
- 238€ (= 8 hours of private tutoring for 1/3 of the market price!)
In practice:
- You get an email with a text to prepare a few days before the session.
- You need Zoom, which you can download here for free.
- You get an invitation email the day before our Online Khôlle to join our Zoom meeting.
The Buddy Programme will take place:
- on Mondays
- 8pm – 9pm (Paris time, GMT+1)
- 9, 23 October – 6, 13, 20, 27 November – 4 & 11 December
